The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.

Applications are now open and will shut on fifteen December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should meet the following requirements:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a home by using a combined gross house income that doesn't exceed R350 000 for each annum.

• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined residence profits won't exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and want not submit any evidence of earnings.

*** Loan nsfas 2025 Scheme for the Missing Middle

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent people from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.

Applicants are reminded to provide the right Identity Document numbers, names, and surname, as mirrored of their South African ID.

NSFAS only funds individuals who are finding out or plan to study at a public university or TVET college in South Africa.

All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until get more info the last day.
